Welcome to 'Owl Voice Note'. By accessing or using our mobile application and related web APIs, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering an account and using 'Owl Voice Note', you confirm that you accept these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not access or use the application.

2. App Usage and Resource Limitations

We leverage high-performance AI engines (WhisperX) to transcribe your voice files. To ensure fair usage and maintain server health for all users, you agree to the following terms:

  • Fair Use Policy: You agree not to exploit our server-side API or queue system by sending excessive automated transcription requests, scraping transcriptions, or attempting to reverse-engineer our API signature tokens.
  • No Malicious Content: You must not upload any audio recordings that contain malware, malicious payloads, or content designed to intentionally disrupt or cause memory leaks in our AI processing worker.
  • API Protection: Any attempt to forge authentication payloads, tamper with client-side cryptography signatures (X-Signature, X-API-Key), or impersonate other devices will result in the immediate and permanent termination of your access.

3. User Account and Nickname Guidelines

During onboarding, you will select a nickname and a persistent device ULID. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and tokens. Nicknames must be alphanumeric and must not impersonate, offend, or violate the rights of any third party.

4. Service Disruption & Limitation of Liability

While we strive to provide continuous, high-speed transcription queues, the service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that the AI engine will always process requests with 100% accuracy, or that the service will remain entirely uninterrupted.

In no event shall 'Owl Voice Note', its creators, partners, or affiliates be liable for any loss of recording files, corruption of SRT subtitle files, or server downtime that results in delayed transcriptions.

5. Termination

We reserve the right, without prior notice and at our sole discretion, to terminate or suspend your access to the transcription server for any breach of these Terms of Service.

6. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Korea, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
